Man United’s Jose Mourinho payoff
Several weeks have passed since Manchester United sacked Jose Mourinho.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now firmly in charge at United, and there’s been a major upturn in form.
Man United have won five matches on the spin, although the Red Devils will be put to the test this weekend when they take on Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday.
When Mourinho was sacked, the likes of Duncan Castles reported on the size of Mourinho’s payoff.
It was previously claimed that Man United owed the Special One 24 million pounds.

However, according to the Daily Mail on Thursday, the actual sum of Mourinho’s payoff was far smaller.
How much did Man United pay Mourinho
The Mail claim Mourinho only received 15 million pounds as he was shown the Old Trafford exit door:
Manchester United paid up Jose Mourinho’s £15 million compensation package immediately after he was sacked.
The main impact of Man United’s settlement with Mourinho is that the Portuguese is already free to take another job:
A source close to Mourinho revealed on Wednesday night: ‘There are no issues over Jose’s contract with Manchester United. Everything has been sorted.’

Mourinho & Real Madrid
This week reports in Spain claimed that Mourinho is ready to take over at Real Madrid.
Madrid are struggling in La Liga this season where they lie fifth in the table, 10 points behind Barcelona.
It’s been reported that Mourinho would only rejoin Los Blancos on the proviso that the club sign a new centre-back and a new centre-forward.
