Ander Herrera will return for Manchester United to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup, according to the Mirror.
The Spaniard has missed the Red Devils’ last four outings with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard will remain sidelined until after the international break.
Herrera returns, Lingard & Mata out vs Wolves
Herrera’s return for United will provide them with a huge boost as the midfielder has become key under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 29-year-old has returned to full training and is ready to take on Wolves in the FA Cup.
For Lingard and Mata, the trip to Molineux comes too soon with United mindful of rushing either player back too soon.
Lingard returned from an injury against Liverpool only to be withdrawn after just 18 minutes and returning to the sidelines.
Mata was also forced off against Liverpool last month after suffering a hamstring injury.
He has returned to light training but will not be ready in time for FA Cup quarter-final.
Lingard’s antics inspired Arsenal to victory vs United, according to Bernd Leno
— Arsenal FC (@Arsenal) March 10, 2019
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has revealed that Lingard’s celebration during his previous trip to the Emirates inspired the Gunners to victory on Sunday.
“I don’t know but in your mind you will never forget something like that, when somebody is celebrating.
“You don’t want to see it again so we were motivated and we knew before the game about our chance because United had one more point than us.
“Now we have two points [between the teams] and that was enough motivation for us.”
